 My career in cake decorating actually began in eighth grade when I took my first cake decorating Class. With that class, I discovered that I really enjoyed making fun cakes for family and friends, and I decided to turn my passion into a career.  To achieve my goal, most of my early working years were in the restaurant industry, moving up from server, to bartender, to corporate trainer, to management.  In my mid 20's, I was employed with the Machus Restaurants in Birmingham, Michigan, famous for their legendary desserts.  While working there I was able to perfect my skills decorating wedding cakes, birthday cakes and other specialty baked goods.  This background eventually enabled me to open my own bake shop, Lisa's Confection Connection.

 Open Tuesday through Friday from 9 to 5 and Saturday 9 to 3, Lisa's Confection Connection is located at 64 S. Main St., Clarkston, Michigan. Our shop specializes in creating custom cookies, cakes, corporate gifts, party favors and gift baskets.   Browse through our site to view a small sample of our truly unique confections.  More photos are available at our store, and we are always able to offer suggestions to help you create your unique gift.  You can order some of our items on line, or call or stop in to place your order.
